In the early morning sunlight
Thoughts racing through my head from last night
The smoke in the air from lamplights
Gives a haze to everything I see.
In blind confusion, we burnt temples down
And now we’ve no one else to blame but ourselves.

For so many years through the ages
Our people lived in cages (of the mind)
We blamed the demigods for waging war
And with each battle, we suffered more.
Such an illusion,
We let our hearts wide open
We were played – just pieces in the game –
- nothing more.
- in this hour…
- we are just an hour away…..

But now we’ve opened our eyes; No more blind submission
Somehow we can see through the eyes of a blind religion
They’re tearing the walls of the temple down –
Just an illusion –
Moving together in communication
A SIGN from the stars, it will be… …and we’re free…..

They came to us from the sky
Shining from above
From a place beyond the sun –
They took away the lies
Of the Mountain Lord
They brought daylight to the night –
A promise from the Lights
We’d not be lonely anymore
They taught us not to fear the Dark –
And in seven days
A new temple rose up to the sky
Pointing to the way from which they would return –
They would return from which way to the way
Return from the way they were pointing

And now thousands of lives have come and gone
Lessons soon forgotten
Waves from the past flow through today
Doing what your fathers did –
You’re breaking the laws of the simple down
Elemental confusion –
A change in the weather – Tribulation –
Blind from afar, it will be - in this hour…
