I remember the time when your heart was pure as spun glass

But now a shadow of guilt lends an errant gloom
With an ashen hue

Morphing through permutations of integrity, you failed to realize
The heights that we attained - the true grandeur of our lives

If you would temper the vitrification of my soul
With your crystalline clarity
Perhaps I could find my place again

Before we lose everything
