Harrowing in patient darkness
A germinating singularity
Pulling at the carnal essence
Of my Particular Velocity

Lingering between the pain of absence
And the eagerness to delve into something new
In my Darkling thoughts, I forgot about you

Right then I was granted an epiphanous insight
Into a world that had been hidden from me
It was obvious states were changing
Redefining our Future Histories

Redesign our subtle nature
Obfuscated by deception and scorn
I only realized it later
We were shattered and torn

I rearrange our broken pieces
Patterns align anew
Endeavoring to forget everything
As if I never knew you
In the Dark Flow

We are traveling in the same direction
Our universal flow
Even the Great Attractor bows unto the Dark Flow

Something in the way we said goodbye
Left a scar upon my life
And I will never be the same, I know

Shattered by your cultivated lies
Discharging bitterness and strife
A suffocated flame – let go

Only one path remains
I will never feel the same

I’ve no desire to even the score
I don’t even want to play anymore
I’ve no fear of what’s in store
It’s inevitable, so here we go

The entire Universe succumbs to the Dark Flow
The whole Web expanding
As the tearing of my heart
My emotive calcification
Tends the withering of your charms
Times like these are pungent and alive
And I’ve grown to know them well
The permanence of love for which we strive
Has decayed into this manufactured Hell

The distance between lonely spaces
Expands forever beyond our view
Nothing short of resurrection could rectify my grief
Divergent paths through all Eternity

Do you ever wonder where we’re going?
Are we on contiguous trajectories?
Subtracting lifetimes from the Sum of our Histories
